Have you guys notice that both episodes showed Rachel and Mercedes in black dresses, both episodes also showed Mercedes singing a song while Rachel watched from afar, both episodes showed that Mercedes wanted the spotlight and Rachel willingly to share it with her or whatever, and the difference is that from the first episode showed her standing by herself, completely alone, watching Finn from afar with heartbroken and probably wished that he was right by her side the whole time, and now this episode finally showed him right by her side the whole time, supporting her through everything.
